A hard worker devoted to his career; I think much more about Real Estate than anything else. I could not feel more confident that I am on the right career path, giving my all for the balance of my professional life to real estate pleases me enormously. Thus, I hope to earn my Master’s Degree at my first choice among graduate programs in Real Estate at XU University. I admire your innovative efforts in online education, and I am attracted to the brick-and-mortar location of XU. I hope to earn my Master’s in the DC area.
I love everything about XXXX: its reputation, especially its distinguished faculty, network, alumni, campus, etc. All my instincts tell me that Georgetown represents the optimal springboard upon which to advance professionally. For the past 1.5 years, I have been analyzing the acquisition of commercial properties. I have come to love my work very much and cannot imagine wanting to do anything else than pursue real estate and become an accomplished and distinguished asset manager. I love to learn and want to keep learning constantly, especially about real estate. I am also dedicated to staying abreast of a lifetime of relevant technological advances for the real estate industry, providing an edge to some and leaving others behind.
Ever since I was a child, I have been interested in Real Estate. It was the tangibility that always drew me, how one could see and feel what they were working towards, the direct impact on the community, and the way that real estate is central to the success or failure of all kinds of business and social initiatives.
Most of my family is blue-collar. My dad is an electrician and general contractor; my grandpa has an excavating company, and I grew up on job sites as soon as I was old enough to walk. However, I always knew I wanted to go to college and be on the "business side" of real estate. None of my immediate family went to college; I am only the second person in my family to graduate with an undergraduate degree, behind my older brother. As an Economics major in college, I could focus much of my studies on Real Estate at the University of Miami, where I also learned a great deal as a member of the Real Estate and Finance Association.
I enjoy helping people, which led me to become a Business Mentor, assisting undergraduates to refine their career goals for job searches. I hope to leverage this master's degree to advance my career and make a positive contribution to society by changing how real estate affects the community. By becoming involved in real estate, one creates a vehicle for participation in the community, which can give rise to opportunities to improve the lives of one’s neighbors and friends. I have a particular passion for environmentally friendly buildings and enhancing the way people live, work, and enjoy entertainment daily – through sustainable investment and practices.
After earning my degree at XXXX, I hope to constantly advance my career in real estate acquisitions and development for decades to come. The more successful I become, the more I will wish to invest my time inspiring and guiding young people interested in careers in Real Estate. Volunteer work on behalf of the least fortunate among us is an integral part of my social or civic identity. I frequently donate clothes, money, and time to various charities devoted to attending to the needs of underprivileged children.
My GPA in my first two years of college reflects some adjustment problems. My more recent academic efforts represent a much better indication of my potential to excel at XXXX.
